Stabilizing and scaling a WordPress support and maintenance SaaS
In autumn 2023 the founder of Glow came to Mobius through a referral from another client. Glow needed a dedicated team to take over a SaaS product that a previous team struggled to release and support properly. Glow is a white labeled dashboard for WordPress agencies that combines support ticketing, maintenance, and client reporting in one place.
The project needed a careful takeover with minimal disruption for existing users. The platform required multiple rebuilds, but the budget was tight, so we focused on changes that would bring stability first. Another major issue was high cloud spend, which had to be reduced without sacrificing reliability. Security was also a priority because legacy decisions created risk around sensitive data handling and access control.
We started by reviewing the source code, infrastructure, and the features already present. Then we prepared a stabilization plan with clear priorities, including a list of bugs to close before shipping new work. We also aligned on a sprint approach so delivery became predictable and progress was visible week by week.

Key platform areas include a support ticket system, client reports, WordPress updates, backups, uptime monitoring, performance checks, vulnerability alerts, one click access to client sites, and team accounts with permission levels.
Glow also highlights integrations such as Wordfence, UpdraftPlus, UptimeRobot, Slack, Google PageSpeed Insights, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
We provided a full cycle team including DevOps and delivered in sprints. Each sprint focused on stabilizing critical paths first, then adding new features once the base was reliable. We tested changes before release and used a controlled rollout process to protect production stability.
A major part of the work was reducing cloud costs and improving operational reliability. Our DevOps support targeted infrastructure and architectural adjustments that delivered the biggest impact within budget. This helped keep the platform stable while continuing to ship improvements.
Glow is stable in production and continues to grow its user base. With a consistent sprint delivery system, the platform keeps improving and expanding its feature set while maintaining reliability.
