A mobile first SaaS for collecting voice notes and turning them into a single keepsake audio gift

Overview

In autumn 2024, the founder of Cheer We Go came to Mobius through a referral from another client. The idea was to build a cross platform, mobile first product that lets a group record voice notes, combine them into one collection, and share it with someone special. It is designed for moments like weddings, birthdays, and hard times, where people want something more personal than text.

Challenge

The hardest part was turning a unique idea into a product people actually want to use. We had to understand what users expect, design the right flow, validate it with a focus group, and position it against indirect competitors. The experience also had to be simple enough for any invited participant to record a message quickly, without support calls and without friction.

Discovery and product planning

We started with discovery and validation before building the full product.
We mapped the end to end user journey, reviewed competitor patterns, and defined a roadmap and release plan. To reduce risk, we created a quick mockup of the core flow and tested it with a focus group, then used the feedback to confirm priorities and polish the UX before implementation.

How we worked

Mobius assembled a full cycle team including a product designer, mobile focused engineers, and QA. We delivered in sprints with clear scope, weekly reviews, and testing in every iteration. We shipped the first public release in summer 2025, in less than a year, and continued with post release cycles focused on stability, performance, and feature expansion.

Solution delivered

Cheer We Go is built around a simple three step flow.
Create a collection, invite a Cheer Squad, then wrap up and deliver a final link or downloadable audio collection.

Key product capabilities include:

• Recording voice notes from a group and syncing them into one collection
• Sharing access via link or QR code so participants can record easily
• Organizer controls such as ordering the play sequence, adding an intro and outro, and inserting a ringtone between messages
• Optional transcription so the recipient can read and listen
• Delivery options including scheduled sending and a customized email message
• Extra safety options like password lock for the final collection

The product is also designed to work without an app store install, so users can access it quickly on mobile.

Platform today

Cheer We Go is positioned as a simple way to create a voice note collection that can be replayed and kept as a memory.
The platform is still being optimized through post development cycles, with ongoing improvements to user flow, reliability, and new feature releases.
